Transitioning

So I'm transitioning into this new salon and the other stylists are really nice. D is so great and she's full of knowledge...29 years of experience to be exact. It's getting down to the time that she she's seeing these clients/friends for the last time in her chair before retiring. I get a little sad and sit there hoping nobody starts crying...I'm a contagious crier and that's a bad thing in this business!!! She's done on Sept 10th and then it's up to me to "carry the touch". NO PRESSURE!!!
I got to see my favorite clients this week so that was cool...I LOVE HAIR!!!

my studio

So here's a picture of my new studio. I will have free reign on Sept 10th to paint walls and move my salon furnishings in!!! The flowers fit the previous stylist's personality perfectly but are definitely NOT FOR ME!!! I'm going to be decorating in black & white with dark purple or red accents. (jury is still out on that part) There will be CLEAN lines and my space will be well organized/clutter free.
